How to reach Maastricht

Maastricht has a twice-hourly train connection to Amsterdam Airport "Schiphol", and the journey takes just under three hours. From Schiphol take a train to Duivendrecht, where you can switch to a direct train to Maastricht. An alternative connection, via Amsterdam Central Station, takes only a few minutes longer. The earliest reasonable connection leaves Schiphol just before 6AM, the latest just after 9PM.

Maastricht airport, also known as Beek airport or Maastricht Aachen Airport, is a few kilometers north of the city. Bus 61 will take you from the airport to Maastricht Central Station in 20 minutes.

Maastricht is approximately 250 kilometers from Schiphol by road. Take the A4 towards Amsterdam, travel southward around the city on the A10 ring road until you get to the A2 to Utrecht and Maastricht. Maastricht is also linked by highway to Liege/Luttich/Luik and to Aachen.
