USENIX is co-sponsoring SANE '98 as part of an initiative to support the advanced computing community outside of the United States through co- operative ventures with local organizations.

USENIX is the Advanced Computing Systems Technical and Professional Association. Since 1975 the USENIX Association has brought together the community of engineers, system administrators, scientists, and technicians working on the cutting edge of the computing world.
