Electronic commerce over the Internet is the fastest growing forum for business exchange. Corporate web sites now have the ability to generate real profits and are no longer considered just high-priced electronic advertisements. Most consumers are still reluctant to use their credit cards on the Internet for fear that hackers will gain access to their accounts. Fortunately, new standards and products are emerging to enable secure electronic commerce.

Business Managers, IT Directors, Network Managers and Security Managers will hear about:

  • The different types of identification and authentication methods currently available for e-commerce applications and some of the strongest and most cost-effective solutions.
  • Integrating enterprise security solutions into corporate security policies that protect e-commerce applications and other vital corporate information assets as well.
  • SET (Secure Electronic Transactions), a new standard that will ensure the consumer, the vendor, and the financial institution that secure electronic transactions can be conducted and verified
