SANE 2000 will offer Internet Access facilities to its attendees. This conference the Internet Access Room will be almost three times as big as at SANE '98. A UNIX machine with an ISDN link to the Internet will let you send and read email and log in on your own machine using telnet, rlogin or ssh. For increased security, we advise to use ssh only.

The Internet Access Room will offer a number of X-terminals, and BNC, UTP and wireless Ethernet connection facilities, so both people with and without laptop computers will be able to use the facility. Make sure your laptop uses DHCP for IP-address allocation, or be sure you know how to install a fixed IP address on your laptop.

The Internet Access Room will be available:

Monday 09.00 a.m. - 11.00 p.m.
Tuesday 01.00 p.m. - 11.00 p.m.
Wednesday 11.30 a.m. - 06.00 p.m.
Thursday 09.00 a.m. - 04.00 p.m.

No liability is accepted for damages resulting from the use of this facility.
