Please make sure you arrange your accommodation in time, since Maastricht has limited hotel accommodation.

Accommodation Reservation Form Information

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE COMPLETING THE ACCOMODATION FORM

MECC Hotel Service has been assigned as official Housing Bureau for SANE 2000. Your hotel request can be processed through the MECC Hotel Service via the printable accommodation form.

General hotel information

MECC Hotel Service will process your accommodation form either by postal mail or fax.
Hotel reservations cannot be processed without your completed form and a NLG 250 per room deposit.
After receipt of your payment/credit card guarantee, the required accommodation will be booked and a voucher will be sent to you.
MECC Hotel Service cannot accept phone reservation requests.
Hotel reservations will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis according to the information you provide on your accommodation form.
All hotel prices quoted are in Dutch Guilders and excl. tourist tax and breakfast.
Accommodation requests and deposits must be received by MECC Hotel Service no later than March 21, 2000 to ensure your hotel assignment.

Hotel deposits

Each hotel requires a deposit of NLG. 250 to reserve and confirm your accommodation request. After receipt of your payment/credit card guarantee, the required accommodation will be booked and a voucher will be sent to you. Any deposit will be deducted from your hotel bill by trading in the voucher at the hotel reception desk.

Method of Payment

Payment may only be made in Dutch Guilders, free of bank charges. In the event of bank charges, NLG 20 will be deducted from your hotel deposit.

Credit Card
1. Accepted Credit Cards: Visa, American Express, Eurocard and Diners Club.
2. An authorized signature on the accommodation form is required in order to process any charges to your credit card.
3. Please include the name of the participant, address and reference code SANE 2000.
(Euro)cheque
1. Only company checks are acceptable.
2. Please indicate your card number, name, address and reference code SANE 2000.
3. Please make payable to MECC Hotel Service.
Swift transfer
1. Payment to bank account 57.55.85.692 of the ABN/AMRO bank (Maastricht), the Netherlands, swift code ABN ANL-2R, in the name of MECC Hotel Service.
2. Please include your name, address and reference code SANE 2000.

Changes or cancellation

The MECC Hotel Service requires all changes and/or cancellation requests in writing. If you cancel your reservation before April 22, 2000 MECC Hotel Service will charge NLG 75 administration fee per room. If you cancel your reservation on or after April 22, 2000 the whole deposit (NLG 250) may be charged. The date of receipt of your written confirmation at MECC Hotel Service will be considered as the date of cancellation.

Refunds will be dealt with after the conference.

Booking conditions

MECC Hotel Service acts as an agent for and makes arrangements with hotels providing sleeping room accommodations and hotel service, in order to provide you with accommodations during SANE 2000. Although great care is taken when working with the individual hotels, MECC Hotel Service is unable to directly control the suppliers and therefore, cannot be held responsible for their acts or omissions. MECC Hotel Service cannot assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of injury, loss, damages of property, delay or inconvenience for any reason.

Transportation in Maastricht

In Maastricht free public transport will be available to participants of SANE 2000 throughout the conference. Detailed information will be given to you at the registration desk in May.
