You can register for the SANE 2006 conference through the online registration form. Your registration for the conference and/or tutorial(s) will be final once we have received both the registration form and the actual payment.

Registration fees
The early registration deadline is April 7, 2006. Registrations received after April 7, 2006 will be charged an extra fee. For details, see the tables below.

Methods of payment
Both payment by credit card and through bank transfer are accepted in EURO's (only). Purchase orders, checks, vouchers or telephone reservations will not be accepted.

  • Credit card
    We accept the following credit cards: VISA, American Express, EuroCard/MasterCard.
    We will ask you for the "Card Validation Code 2" (CVC2-code). The CVC2-code is an extra security code printed on your credit card. This code is only accessible to the cardholder, and is used to verify beyond any doubt that you actually hold the card you are using for this transaction. It also prevents anyone other than you from shopping with your card number. With American Express the CVC appears as a separate 4-digit code printed on the front of your card. For all other cards (Visa, MasterCard, EuroCard), the CVC-code is the final three digits of the number printed in the signature strip on the reverse of your card.
  • Bank transfer
    To assign the payment to your registration, please ensure that your name, company name and invoice number are clearly visible on the transfer form. If this is not the case, the amount paid will be refunded.
    You will receive a confirmation of your registration details together with a pro forma invoice by email.

    We advise you not to send money by bank transfer after May 8, 2006, because your payment will not reach our office in time. In this case, you will have to pay by credit card.

Reduced rate
The reduced rate applies to members of NLUUG, USENIX, SAGE, LOPSA and other national Unix Users Groups like AUUG, /ch/open, DKUUG, EurOpen.CZ, Europen.SE, FUUG, GUUG, HrOpen, NUUG, OTA, SUUG and UKUUG. Please specify User Group name and membership number information on the registration form to qualify. The reduced rate also applies to attendees who qualify with a special discount code obtained from O'Reilly or the Dutch Perl Workshop.

Full-time student rate
Regarding the technical sessions on May 18-19, 2006, all full-time students will be charged a special low fee of EURO (€) 130,- (after April 7: 20% extra). A copy of the current student ID card is required with the registration; please fax a copy to: +31 (0)35 5436731.
Be prepared to also show the original student ID card at the registration desk. There is no special student fee for the tutorials.

Regular rate
The regular rate fee applies to all who do not fit in one of the two categories mentioned above.

Social event
This delightful event will take place Thursday evening (May 18, 2006).
The conference fees (not the tutorial fees) include admission to the social event.

Costs for people who want to attend the social event only are € 65,- incl. 19% VAT.

After receipt of your registration, you will receive a preliminary confirmation with a pro forma invoice by email only. On receipt of your payment, you will receive the final confirmation.
Conference materials and a receipt will be given to you at the registration desk on May 15-19, 2006 (see opening hours below).

On-site registration
If you are unable to register before May 12, 2006, 16:00 p.m. CEST (closing date!), you may register on-site at the registration desk during opening hours. Please note that you have to pay the registration fee on-site. Payment after the conference will not be accepted.

Cancellation policy
If you must cancel, all refund requests must be in writing with a signature, and postmarked no later than April 28, 2006. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after April 28, 2006.
